This is Purdy's website. PURDY'S PUPPY FARM PROTEST. She is such a tiny sweet creature she holds no grudges and is so very loving. She did not deserve her bad start in life. No animal deserves to be treated like she has. Kept in filthy conditions with no health care, no love and raped every six months. Farm animals have more rights and receive more compassion, why do puppy farm dogs have no rights?? Also included are some other ex-puppy farm dogs that have gone through similar experiences. PLEASE CONTACT YOUR LOCAL MEMBER OF PARLIAMENT AND REGISTER YOUR DISAPPROVAL OF THE ABUSE OF PUPPY FARM DOGS. ASK FOR LEGISLATION TO BE PUT IN PLACE TO STOP THIS BARBARIC PRACTICE. Write to them at : www.writetothem.com
EVERYONE CAN HELP.
Never buy a puppy from anyone who advertises many different breeds all year round, usually in free ad newspapers and pet shops. If you are aware of a puppy farm or dealer, report them to any of the dog welfare societies, tell your vet or get in touch with; hope-uk@yahoo.com Write to your local Member of Parliament and ask for legislation to be put in place to stop this evil trade. PLEASE DON'T TURN YOUR BACK ON THESE DOGS __ TO DO NOTHING IS TO GIVE THE PUPPY FARMERS YOUR APPROVAL.
NO MORE PURDY'S PLEASE!
PUPPY FARM BLUES No one to hear my lonely cry, No one to clean my filthy sty, No one to care if I give a scream, I'm just a fat puppy machine.
No fun and games, nor yips and barks, No cool pond to go splish splash, No rustling grass or bunny tracks, No scented woods to sprint and dash.
No chance of sun upon my back , Nor to hear the song of the lark, No one to hear my desperate bark, All there is , is the cold and the dark.
No toys to play with, No bouncing ball, No leads and wellies in the hall, No one to teach me how to 'sit'.
Sometime there's change, So I've been told , By the empty crates, Of the sick and old.
No one to hear my lonely cry, No on to care if I live or die.

February 2009 Sadly,
our darling Princess has left us after a short illness associated with her weak
heart. If she was indeed 6 when she was discharged from her puppy farm, she
would have been 10. Purdy
never really became ‘normal’, she never picked up a toy, played with the
others or became fearless. Her failing eyesight, because of untreated dry eye,
meant that she existed in her own twilight world. She
was always terrified of being touched, grooming was a nightmare and she could
never be brushed on her rear area without becoming distressed. Nail clipping was
also a nightmare, but with constant enforced attention and treat bribery we
managed to keep her tidy. Her
coat grew, long and silky and she turned out to be such a beautiful girl, so far
removed from the excreta stained, flea and worm ridden creature with a rats
tail, of four years previously. She was white and beautiful, our little
snowdrop, she had a beautiful soul. She
was gentle, kind and easygoing, and never offered one disagreeable attitude,
either towards her fur friends or her human family. She discovered that she
could ask for cuddles, but was not sure what to do when her request was granted,
always expecting to be hurt when at the mercy of human contact. Her
greatest vice was that she learned to beg!!! It was impossible to
make toast without her turning up for a piece and as that was one of her very
few demands from us; we gave in to her and allowed her to be ‘naughty’! We
felt that 6 years in the hell hole of a puppy farm had given her that right. I
would respectfully ask anyone reading this to visit her home page and
‘writetothem’ just click and you will get through to your MP, simply by
inserting your post code, please ask for the Animal Welfare Law (2006) to be
upheld and the perpetrators of puppy farming to be brought under control so that
the dogs do not suffer any more, we do not want any more Purdys. If you could
ask just one friend to do the same that would be wonderful. THANK
YOU!
